I have produced over 100 shorts, promotional videos and webseries episodes. Many of these were made during or immediately after the Great Recession, which makes me a recession-era filmmaker.
I take pride in my creative efficiency as a producer. Rather than being intimidated by limitation, I’ve learned to channel it, to turn low budgets or constrained schedules in to opportunities for innovation.
For creativity to flourish, it needs to be nurtured and protected from the chaos that can sometimes buffet a production. When I produce, my goal is always to build a reliable foundation for my productions, so the creative and innovative work can happen in a stable environment.
